The main scope of activity of Helictite Caving Club-Sofia is the research, promotion and conservation of caves and nature in general. To accomplish these goals, the club conducts various training courses. It performs research in a number of caves, slopes and areas and publishes its activities. Each year, an expedition plan is drawn up, which includes the most important research sites, as well as the training programs and the annual club gatherings.
