Zasele is a village in Western Bulgaria. It is located in the Municipality of Svoge, Sofia district. The annual fair is held last Sunday of June.

The village of Zasele is located in a mountainous area.
History
The first known settlers from ancient times were the Thracians. From this period there are several Thracian mounds left. There are remnants of a Roman road, a military fortification, a fortress, a monastery and a bone mound.
Cultural and natural landmarks
Skaklya waterfall – the second highest in Bulgaria. The Vazov’s eco-trail linking Zasele and Gara Bov has been officially opened since April 29, 2007. The trail has new fences, bridges, and night lighting is added every 5 meters along the edge of the rock wreath along the path. There are gazebos and information boards.
