Yablanitsa is a village in Western Bulgaria. It is located in the Municipality of Svoge, Sofia district.
Geography
The village of Yablanitsa is situated in a mountainous area, in the Murgash area of Western Stara Planina.
History
For the first time the village was mentioned in the earliest Ottoman tax register dating back to 1430 as Ablanitsa and Gradishte.
In the village of Yablanitsa is situated one of the residences of Todor Zhivkov, the Tarsava Hunting House, a pleasant and cozy place for recreation. Built between 1979 and 1980, it occupies a territory of about 5,000 hectares. Owned by the residence are two lakes suitable for fishing, which are available to holidaymakers at all times. In the area, under natural conditions, are reared red deer, roe deer and wild boar, which are the subject of hunting tourism.
A moto fest is held on May 1.
